Tommy Canning, Richard Pask, Tim Laverty, and now Alex Moiseyev? Just heard the bad news from John Acker's email and also his post to CHECKERS on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/1548761 ... 093679583/ Review the link and get more information about Alex.

John forwarded an email from Alex's wife Galina. Apparently Alex was mowing the backyard Monday evening, September 30, 2013 when it happen. He was alone at home so no one saw or heard him fall, he managed to crawl to the back door and dial for help.

John posted that Alex was hospitalized at Ohio Riverside Hospital. His room is 3346B, and the phone number in the room is 614-544-7089.

Alex posted later... ACF Forum - Wed, Oct 02, 2013 1:24 pm: "I am back home from Ohio Riverside Hospital, everything is under control now. I had a mid-level heart attack, rated in hospital as 4 (10 - death). I had cauterization procedure and they figured out I had closure of Femoral Artery (99%). Doctor put stint in. That's about all it was to it. (modestly put by Alex) I am going to quit smoking and taken some diet regime going forward. The number of medicine I'll be force to take daily is slowly growing."

"I can start driving on Friday and lift more than 10 pounds in couple weeks."

"My next checkers event will be District 4, NC November 1-2. Doctor said that long drive is OK but I have to stop every 2-3 hours for 5-10 minutes rest."
